DANA HUBBARD HOUSE CONCERT (10/8)

"Do you have time for another story?" he asked with a smile.

Yeah, we did.

I think he might have talked and played all night.  And we might listened. 

A (disappointingly) small crowd was treated Saturday night to the wit and wisdom of Dana Hubbard.  A self-proclaimed 'born-again' folk-singer who doesn't even try  to hide the strong blues influence and incredible blues guitar.  From his homage to Woody Guthrie ("Woody's Guitar") and Lightnin' Hopkins ("Lightnin's Cadillac") to the environmental plea of "Groundskeepers"  and the intersection of blues and Celtic in "Dancing Feet of the Little People" the
